Sustainability at Green Solutions
Since 2024, sustainability has been an official part of our business strategy. As a wholesaler of garden and houseplants, we work with living products that are highly dependent on natural conditions and reliable supply chains. That’s why we feel a strong responsibility to contribute to a future-proof world—for our customers, suppliers, and future generations.
In 2024, we took our first steps toward structured sustainability reporting. We mapped our environmental impact, explored social topics such as working conditions and education, and underwent an independent SMETA audit. We also began collecting data on energy consumption, waste streams, and CO₂ emissions. This forms the foundation for further improvement and transparency.
Our approach is honest and realistic: we acknowledge where we still need to grow, while also taking concrete steps forward. We are working on a climate transition plan, exploring policies on human rights and governance, and aiming to make our supply chain increasingly sustainable. For us, sustainability is not a destination, but a continuous process of learning, improving, and collaborating.

The results confirm our commitment to responsible business practices, with no critical non-compliances found.

The assessment focuses on environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. It helps us benchmark, improve, and communicate transparently with customers and partners.
